She’s working for the troops

Saturday was a special day for Carolyn Lare as she organized her first event for the Alabama Operation America Rising.
The national organization has been in existence in Alabama for about four months and is designed to boost the morale among U.S. troops abroad, Lare said.
“We want to make sure they know they are appreciated for what they are doing, and that is why we decided to develop this organization here,” Lare said.
