Geraldine AL Cold Case Murder Investigated
Sherriff Jimmy Harris, newly elected sherriff of Dekalb County and originally from the Geraldine, Alabama area, is re-opening up a cold case murder from 1997 of a 19 year old murder victim, Tina Payton, of Geraldine. The girl was a cashier at Geraldine Super Valu at the time and the case had never been solved. Discovered on her body following the murder was a strange symbol carved on her body with a sharp instrument. The cops are trying to follow all evidence again in this investigation.
